Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the personal, social, and academic development of students with special needs, fostering an inclusive environment where all students can thrive
• Collaborating effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff to create a supportive, well-structured learning environment for students with different needs
• Helping to devise and implement personalised learning plans that encourage students to excel
• Providing tailored support to students in key curriculum areas like English and Maths
• Mentoring and coaching students to help them build resilience, confidence, and a love for learning

Requirements and Qualifications

• Relevant certification as a Special Needs Assistant or equivalent professional experience in Special Educational Needs
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Patience, resilience, and a compassionate nature
• Commitment to diversity and inclusivity, and knowledge of safeguarding principles and practices
