Key Responsibilities

  • Provision of specialized support to students, fostering independence and enabling the achievement of their educational objectives
  • Collaboration with teaching, therapy, and well-being teams to design and implement bespoke learning pathways, grounded in our curriculum
  • Nurturing a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment that encourages student growth and success
  • Successful implementation of student-specific Education Health and Care Plans (EHCP)

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Previous experience working as a Special Needs Assistant or similar role
  • Evidence of relevant training/certification in special needs education
  • Adeptness in managing the unique challenges and rewards of working with students with varying learning difficulties
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and be responsive to the individual needs of students
