Key responsibilities:

• Delivering effective support tailored to the individual learning needs of students with complex disabilities including those with profound and multiple learning disabilities, autism, and severe social and emotional difficulties
• Implementing creative, engaging, and accessible lessons in line with the pupils' Education Health and Care Plan
• Active teamwork with fellow educators, therapists and well-being officers to create a cohesive and comprehensive learning environment
• Fostering a nurturing and engaging atmosphere that prioritizes student wellness and achievement
• Contributing to the further development and refinement of our core curriculum values in relation to special needs education

Requirements and Qualifications:

• QTS or equivalent qualifications (essential)
• Experience or qualifications related to supporting students with special needs (essential)
• Proficiency in implementing individual learning plans and personalised education strategies (essential)
• A demonstrable passion for empowering students with special needs (essential)
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the specific needs of our students (desirable)
