Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with special needs, facilitating learning tailored to individual requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience working with children or young adults, particularly those with special needs.
  • Qualifications in education or child development are desirable, such as a Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
  • Understanding of special educational needs (SEN) and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents alike.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection policies, alongside willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
