We are seeking an energized, experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Day to Day Supply Cover Supervisor. This is an incredible opportunity to work with a diverse and dynamic team in an 11 to 16 girls' school with mixed sixth form, located in south-west Birmingham, known for fostering aspiration and academic achievement with firm traditional values and high-quality teaching.

With no ceilings on student potentials, students are educated in an environment of high expectations, rigour, and warmth. Your role as a Cover Supervisor will be essential in maintaining this environment and supporting each student to work hard, be kind, and aim high in all that they do.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day classroom cover across all subject areas.
• Implement pre-planned lessons when teachers are off sick or undertaking professional development.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively and in line with the school's behaviour policy.
• Assist and support student learning and completion of work set.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and the Cover Manager.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A demonstrable passion for teaching and student success.
• Subject-specific expertise in Cover Supervision desirable.
• Relevant experience or qualifications (for example, QTS) considered highly beneficial.
• Adaptability and flexibility to work across various education levels and different subjects.
• A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
