Empowering Learning successfully recruits and retrains Overseas Trained Teachers who are living in the UK but who have found it difficult to access a route into teaching by themselves.

Our commitment is to your professional development and so we encourage fixed term assignments in one school.

Many of you have teaching and post graduate qualifications in shortage subjects. We recognise that you may be from countries where the UK curriculum is taught.  Our Work Experience Programme puts you straight into the classroom in a structured support position which ends after 6 weeks with you teaching at least part of a full class lesson in your chosen subject.
