Work Experience

Our Professional Standards for Teachers Course includes a work experience component which enables you to gain experience in your specialist teaching area.

The placement is always negotiated to suit your situation but we recommend 2-3 days a week for one term.

Your recruitment manager accompanies you to your placement interview to ensure that specific developmental targets are agreed and recorded with your line manager.

Following the work experience you will:

• Feel much more confident
• Have experience of leading part of a lesson with a full class
• Know more about ICT (Information & Communication Technology) & IWB (Interactive White Board) use.
• Have a UK reference
