Professional Development Programme for QTS

If appropriate you will be invited to attend our Professional Standards for Teachers Training, a course which focuses on the 33 aspects of the National Curriculum and each session is presented by a senior manager or specialist within education.

The course consists of one 2-hour session per week for 16 weeks, usually on Thursday evenings.

You will be provided with a training portfolio. Research tasks leading from each session will be recommended and it is your responsibility to do further work on materials, contacts and internet links.

At your initial interview, a professional development plan will be agreed with you. We urge you to research areas recommended by your recruitment manager.
