Nationality: Indian
I was originally introduced to Empowering Learning
by a teacher colleague. He described it as a professional
agency, extremely straight forward in their approach
and known to yield very good results.
After an initial friendly chat on the phone, one
of the first things which struck me was their personalised
and friendly approach towards the people who registered
with them. The interest with which they suggested
multiple career options alongside guiding Overseas
Trained Teachers with professional development was
incomparable. Their constant involvement in their
career path is what makes them stand out as a recruitment
agency.
In September 2007, I walked into a Primary School
for the first time through Empowering Learning.
Little did I know then that this association was
going to turn into anything more lasting than that.
Within the week, I had undertaken the responsibility
to teach year 6 and I continue to work there, with
the agency guiding, supporting and advising me on
day to day working.
Almost a couple of years on, my relationship with
Empowering Learning is getting stronger by the day
and very soon I will be preparing for QTS.
