I was recommended by a PGCE course leader in UAE to join Empowering Learning. She assured me it would be the best way for me to get my QTS. I had been teaching in the UAE for four years.

Empowering Learning arranged a paid placement (2 days at a Redbridge Primary School) for me during the summer term where I could learn about working in a British school. They have since arranged interviews for me, from which I got a full time job. Every step of the way in moving from Dubai to London, Empowering Learning has been there, making sure everything is clear for me, making sure I felt comfortable with the change, always ready to offer their support and guidance.

I am now attending a series of Professional Development sessions offered by Empowering Learning which are invaluable in teaching me about various elements of the British education system. Empowering Learning has also given me the chance to meet other trainee teachers who are working in the same area as I am. Empowering Learning stays in contact with my school, making sure everything is going well. I have already had one lesson observation from Sue Lee Empowering Learning QTS consultant. Her feedback was very structured and specific.

Empowering Learning’s strength is their humanity, their friendliness, support, warmth and guidance. Every trainee who works with them knows that they are always at the other end of the phone and that every question or issue, no matter how big or small, will be dealt with promptly and efficiently. They are an invaluable way to achieve QTS and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
