A friend of mine who is a teacher suggested me to
contact Empowering Learning.
I was a qualified Music teacher in Switzerland
but I didn’t have a clue on how to get into teaching
here in the UK
Empowering learning helped me first of all by
explaining step by step and in details the procedure
to get into teaching.
Together we had my qualifications recognised by
the NARIC Institute.
Empowering learning helped me in filling the
forms to get a Criminal Records Bureau Check.
They also find me a work placement in a lovely
school in Lambeth where I had plenty of support.
I had lots of support by Empowering
Learning. All members of staff are friendly and
polite; they are always happy to help. They believed
in me as a teacher from the beginning and gave me
hope and strength while I was looking for a job.
They are always in touch to check how things are
going and make sure you feel supported. Debbie is
lovely; it’s always a pleasure to hear from her and
she’s the first person I get in touch with after an
interview or if something happens at school.
